How long is a typical drone show?Most customers desire shows which are 12-13 minutes in length, but the show length will be customized to your specific requirements! Although the show takeoffs are spectacular, we do not overstate show time by including the takeoff and landing phase in "show time". Counting the pre-soundtrack (we provide), takeoff, and landing phase adds about 2 minutes to your actual show. What we call a 12 minute show, most companies would call a 14-15 minute show.

Are you available for my event?If the date for your event is not already booked, we can prepare a show for you within a week; however more planning time helps us plan the optimal experience. During the planning time, we will evaluate your site, work with you on the design elements, obtain FAA/local approvals, and help your market the show. If you need something sooner, please reach out as our designers are known to work wonders. Or, alternatively, we may have a show in our portfolio designed to match your event (e.g. we already have some wedding and holiday shows ready to go).

Where is Dynamic Skies located?Dynamic Skies is located in Edmond. Our primary goal is serving Oklahoma communities, however we are happy to consider out of state events if you'd like to consider a top-notch drone show provider.

How many drones are in the show?Popular options are 50, 80, 100, and 200 but we can paint your story with as many drones as you'd like! Shows price by the number of drones in show. We get the most effect from every drone and maximize motion and advanced lighting FX. A common comment we hear is that Dynamic Skies gets the same effect as other show designs using two or even three times the number of drones! This means you get MORE show for your dollar with Dynamic Skies.

Are you licensed?Yes, our pilots are highly experienced with FAA UAS remote pilot certificates. We were one of the first companies in the US with FAA approval for drone light shows. Our operations, training safety program was created and implemented by our Director of Operations who has received 35+ years of flight safety training as a military, airline, and flight test pilot. We also provide consulting services and assist other light show operators around the world.

How much should I budget for a show?Shows are priced by number of drones. Our standard rate is $150/drone. Since all shows are custom designed, we can use the number of drones your budget allows. Our standard price includes ALL service including a completely custom show, choreographed soundtrack, sound system (if desired), and travel to your event if within the state of Oklahoma. We do not charge extra for custom formations, travel, sound, or the many upcharges encountered with other services.

Those drones are so close together. What about safety?The drones are at least 6 feet apart at all times. They have special positioning systems onboard so they know their exact position within a few centimeters at any given time. Dynamic Skies is dedicated to safe operations, runs a premier safety program, and has experienced crew with thousands of hours flight experience.
